Purpose

The Beach & Friends community was created with the aim of fostering new friendships, combining the charm of local Spanish culture with a variety of international influences. There are no restrictions or preferences regarding the use of languages ​​(anything goes as long as people understand each other), however, it is logical that Spanish and English prevail in most communications. Similarly, all ages are welcome, and the group boasts a good demographic diversity.

The Beach & Friends community is non-profit, and the activities offered are generally free, meaning there are no additional costs for the organization other than any out-of-pocket costs that may arise during the activity (drinks, concert or movie tickets, etc.).

Guidelines and terms of use

We like participants to be an active part of the meetings and gatherings we organize, to contribute vitality and good intentions, and to be able to propose plans and initiatives of common interest.

The community is large and growing every day, so it's important to maintain good practices in the way we interact within groups.

Good practices

• Be as concise as possible when writing messages and get to the point. Limit text to what is essential and related to the proposed activity.

• Limit posting in groups only when the message can truly add value, or to indicate participation in an event, thus avoiding comments that provide no information.

• Avoid spreading news of any kind (this is what newspapers and other sources of information are for), except in cases of high added value.

• Avoid generating "noise" with empty messages (e.g., good morning group, jokes, memes, photos from the beach, various greetings, and the like).

• Avoid generating debates of any kind; they can become endless and detract from the visibility of what is important.

• There are several groups in the community; make sure you post in the most suitable group.

Administrators may moderate some messages, if necessary, in order to maintain good practices and preserve the value of the most important information.

What is prohibited

Any of the following content will be deleted by the administrators without prior notice, and, if necessary, the responsible participants will be excluded from the community.

• The promotion and dissemination of political or religious ideologies.

• The promotion and dissemination of sexual, discriminatory, racist, or similar content.

• Any content that is generally offensive or has inappropriate or impolite tones.

• Using groups to initiate unwanted personal contact with other group members. If anyone feels bothered, please inform the administrators.

• The dissemination of commercial, promotional, or for-profit content.
